Early September I received a phone call from a Shelter in Lake Munmorah NSW. They were full and unable to accept a surrender of a dog. I spoke to Jay and discussed his situation and suggested that he go home with his dog and I would arrange a foster carer prior to desexing and rehoming. Through Lisa of GSDS In Need a foster carer was quickly found in the area. Peter Murphy took on Whitey. It became obvious to Peter that Jay had been forced into surrendering his dog due to poor fencing on a rental property and he really did not want to do it. Jay was able to acquire new accommodation and was reunited with Whitey. A great outcome of Rescues working together.
